OK! I bought this 94' Explorer Sport, it didn't have a radio in it when I bought it, But I do know that it has the stock amplifier because of my connections. My problem is that I can't figure out which wires are the constant 12V, The accessory 12V, and the ground. I looked at other posts and noticed that the green and yellow wire is the constant 12V, and the yellow and black wire is the accessory 12V, and black is the ground. I hooked my radio up that way and I got nothing!!!! It's really starting to aggravate me, On the grey clip which is supposed to have all the power wires, I have these color wires, (Blue, Black/Green, Blue/Red, Green/Yellow, Black, Black/Yellow) Does anyone have any suggestions???????

I've already hooked it up that way and got nothing man. I know the radio is good because i have had it hooked up in another vehicle

Do you actually have power there at the wires? Is the fuse good? (check the one on the back of the radio too)
Do the door chime and interior lights work? (they're on the same circuit)

Is the wiring correct between the adapter and the radio harness?

As a matter of fact my interior lights nor my door chime work do you think it would be the fuse in the fuse block? the fuse on the back of the radio is fine any other suggestions man?

They're all on the same circuit, so if there is no power there then the radio won't have power either. Look in the interior fuse panel (its under the dash on the left of the driver's side). The fuse for that circuit is on the side of the fuse block closer to the firewall and to the right. (I forget the number off hand) There is a diagram in the owner's manual. If you can't find it I'll dig up a copy of the diagram.

your a genious man i totally forgot about the fuse in the fuse block! It worked much thanks to you man!

I am having a problem with sound in mine this wiring above is not the wiring harness on my explorer is there more than one harness

Yes, there are two harnesses. One is for power, one is for speakers. Mine has the Premium Sound option, so mine is a very small aquare-ish connector, and if I recall, it's gray. As always, highly recommend a wiring harness for an after market install. Makes things much easier.
