I have a 1994 ford Explorer. Replaced the tranny. Must figure out how to route & adjust the Kickdown cable.

Welcome to this forum! Press the button on the kickdown cable on the base where it's going through the firewall of the vehicle. Pull on this piece untill you hear clicking noises. The cable should have no slack under the throttle pedal. Step down on the throttle cable. You will hear clicking noises again. The cable is now adjusted. Don't pull on the cable inside the vehicle near the pedal. That will mess up the adjustment.
