1994 ranger
Hello, My name is Jack Avant. I am a new member and I just bought a 1994 Ranger that is not running yet. The motor in it was removed from a 1998 explorer. My first question is will the upper intake work that is on the explorer engine. This looks like there is only one gas line hookup and I have 2 gas lines. Am I at the right place to ask these questions? Thanks in advance for your help

Think you'll be needing to do some hunting around for some better matching parts.

If the EFI system on the Explorer 4.0 only has one fuel line, it's for a later, higher pressure EFI system that your '94.

As a guess, you'll need the fuel injectors and upper intake from a '94 or similar rather than the later bits.

Might be a few other snags in the mix as well, things like cam position sensor as well as others that need to match your '94 systems.

Thanks for the feed back. I am looking for a upper and lower intake for that engine,

1994 Ranger Clutch

I got the engine running and now the clutch will not work I replaced the master cylinder and without the line hooked up the pedal had resistance and as soon as I hooked up the slave cylinder I lost all resistance I have opened the bleed line at slave cylinder to remove air but still no clutch. Can someone please tell me the proper way to bleed this system???
