Well I was able to get the cam shaft position sensor installed and timed correctly. Found and installed the EGR intake manifold O-ring. Runs great....check engine light will come on driving down the highway once in overdrive, but stop and restart and code goes away. No I have not pulled them....I just took on it's maden voyage of about 20 miles after sitting for 7 years.

So other things. I know they are unobtanium....but I have the dreaded automatic climate control and the speed control does not work. So fan on all the time whether car on or off. So what's the fix? Get one of the other resistors and hard wire it or maybe locate one in a junkyard I guess. Thoughts?

AC system leaks, guess I'm going to read up and look at dye to see where the leak is.

Both passenger doors the windows do not work....I was able to get a clearance track and regulator from Rock auto for one of the windows.

Also looking for cruise control switchs....right side switches are weirdly melty.

On a plus....the power antannae works great....so there's that.

Otherwise things work well.

Ordered some clearance shocks off Rock Auto to replaced the rotten old originals.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

AC system leaks, guess I'm going to read up and look at dye to see where the leak is. - Could be anywhere of course, but if you don't see dye anywhere 99% chance it's your Evaporator core, that's where my 95 leaks those tend to rot out ,..and there's a shortcut / trick to removing it by just separating the two plastic halves of the housing and slipping it out, without removing all the overlapping items along passenger fender area.. (My daily/ Jeep has working AC so more procrastination of fixing Explorer)

Also looking for cruise control switchs....right side switches are weirdly melty. Easy peasy and cheap, $14 for set on Ebay....youtube videos for procedure, make sure to disconnect battery for safety.

Ordered some clearance shocks off Rock Auto to replaced the rotten old originals. On our 95's the rear shocks TOP mounting is mounted with carriage bolts from factory, the original rusty carriage bolts will now spin around and not loosen when trying to break nuts loose on the bottom, and you cannot get any gripe on them with pliers etc due to very narrow sides and limited view/ access......you'll need to put a glob of JB weld on the top of each bolt head and surrounding say 2" diameter area (after cleaning/ prepping area with small wire brush of course) ....you'll then be able to break bottom nuts loose with fixed position carriage bolts, then just give good tap with hammer on bottom of bolt and it will pop up the top, dried glob of jb weld part of bolt head, separating cleanly off the mounting surface in one glob, all of mine popped up like this no problem.

Shocks installed....much easier if you remove spare tire

I don tthink you can do rear shocks without dropping the spare! Would be tricky for sure

You need to get that code
And check all fuses for the power issues, check them with a multi meter or test light...after sitting that long the pins may have corrosion, so a fuse may look fine but still not transfer power

good work thus far!
