1995 explorer misfiring like crazy

whats up everyone, i have a 1995 explorer 4.0. it idles pretty bad and when i accelerate it misfires a lot. when i floor it it still runs bad plus i hear explosions coming out of the intake (not the exhaust!).
-no engine codes coming up
-new motorcraft spark plugs and calibrated them (i put them at .055....recomended was .052 - .056)
-new spark plug cables
-checked to see if each spark plug cable was getting electricity and they all had
-new IAC
-new EGR valve



car has 120 000 miles. dont know what else to do!!!! please help

check your timing. Get a scanner and see where most of the misfires are taking place at. good luck

i did have it scanned it but there werent any codes coming up
