hey whats up guys....big favor can somone take a picture of they're stock engine preferably a 1996 4.0.

cause i wanna see if the 1996 k&n filter fipk system will fit my 92 4.0 hopefully they are the same!! thanks guys!!

Depends on the kit. Hmmm, might have a pic somewhere....

My FIPK is off to the left at the end of the intake tube. You can see that the intake configuration is different. If what you're looking at only comes with the MAS adapter and the filter, it should fit. However, the mounting brackets won't work and the filter might be too large.

I think you're better off getting a kit made for your vehicle, a KN kit or the KKM kit ( www.kustomz.com ) is good.

ifab.net finally came out with a intake for my 92 4.0 but its stainless steel i was trying to find a plastic intake if i could. that and or just a mas adapter cause i have a cone. i have found the adapter on ebay but wanted to see i i could find it cheaper else where.

also if anyone could, the next time you hapen to be in a junkyard see if they have a 94 explorer cause i want the double cupholder and the screws i'd be willing to pay shipping and handling along with buying it.(resonable price of course) it shouldn't be more than a couple bucks.
