Never had any problems with my explorer runs and drives great just had a huge snow and have been driving through the snow and salt and the check engine came on didn't know if water or salt hit a sensor or wire truck fluids are fine and everything works any thoughts would be appreciated?

Check Engine Light

Could be that water hit an o2 sensor or got somewhere it should not be.
We need the code. See if you can get a local parts place to pull the code for you and let us know what number it is.

Agreed, we need the code. Once you have the code, don't use the code's definition to throw parts at the problem. For example if you get an oxygen sensor related code, doesn't necessarily mean that sensor is bad, just that sensor is reporting an unusual value. Please report back with your findings.
