I know there are the 4.0 and 5.0. But I see things about OHV and SOHC. So what are the differences in power or are there the two different motors in a 1996?

are these three in the 96? i may be buying a 96 soon from my buddy, he said its definetly not the v8. so im going to look at it tomorrow.

SOHC V6 was first available in 1997 If i'm not mistaken, it's good for 45 more HP and 20 more FP of torque. I just bought a 98 with the OHV, moves pretty good..glad to hear it's the more reliable!

i'm not sure i the sohc is in a 96, but i know for sure the ohv and the 5.0 are

In '96 only OHV engine was offerd as V6. Very reliable motor!!

Is it basicly the same motor thats in my 91?

Yes, same as '91.

You have the 4.0 OHV. The 4.0 OHC didn't come out until '97
