looks pretty sweet! good work i like em

That is pretty cool... how'd ya do it?

wow... that is cool.... did you figure out how to get rid of the yellow film?

Transparent Red Tail Paint imported from Japan, wasnt that cheap, but those tails were originally all clears and i painted teh center part, plus i used LED bulbs just to make more distiguished especially at night. I've even asked local police about them, and they say their legal, the only gripe is the turn signal, i am using optiblues now, but thats cause i like to be different :)

sweet.... those are hella cool......

where exactly did you get that paint? it may allow us 1994 and earlier guys to have altezzas :)

Nice work...may we ask how much this imported japan paint cost?

Jt, I was just wondering how the paint on your tail lights was holding up. I noticed that www.autodynamic.com also carries a smoke paint, I was thinking about purchasing a set of altezza tails and using the smoke paint, since the smoked altezzas aren't available for 99-01.

What do you think?

nice job JT

my friend did a similar setup, only he made the turn signals green with the green glass paint.

superwhites in the turns? I've thought about that.. I have orange in mine now and I don't like it.. my clears look dirty all the time cos of it :P

that looks great.. I guess you went with the cleasr like me cos you hated that ugly orange eh? I''ve been considering taking my stock lenses and trying to get the orange red and get the black border paint color.. but when I replace my front turn signal bulbs (currently apc superbrowns, wihch are supposed to be superwhite) I'll see if I can slap some in there and get away with it

Paint is holding up well, its rained a few times, been washed, sun etc and no complaints here

did you paint the inside of the lens or the outside. is there another paint you can use besides this $25 japanese paint. thats rediculous for some paint.

heres a little tip from me to you
ive tinted many a dome light blue

so dont spend all your money, fellow
i also made my fog lights yellow!

get stained glass spray paint, from the hardware store
its cheap, it works, how could you ask for more!

comes in many colors, purple yellow red
clean it spray it, go to bed

wake up in the morning, cant wait to see
your lights look sleek, believe you me

so listen to bob, he knows his stuff
if you think hes wrong, just call his bluff

call you buff? what? ;) sup mono? where ya been? stained glass paint eh, ya think it would look goofy to paint dome lights blue? are replacements expensive? cos I may sell tihs thing one of these days...

wazzzap!!! long time no see. my dome lights look crazy nice at night, i did the lights on the mirrors too, all blue, it just glows when you open the door, never looked into replacement cost, im sure you could find new lenses in the junkyard.

i knew you would like my rhyme

k, well, one of my dome lights is burned out, and I was trying to find a superwhite bulb setup to replace it but can't seem to find it.. hell I can't even find a normal bulb to replace it with, someone told me its 168 but the bulb that was in it isn't shaped like a 168, so I dunno

dude, that light is a 195, i have changed mine 30 times, after they caught on fire and stuff.

195, you should be able to find a superwhite

caught fire??
how did that happen? did it have something to do with the paint? or is it a random thing?
my lights never erupt in flames or spontaneously combust.

see the deal was i wanted blue dome lights, so i tried a few different methods, one of which was to use blue marker on the bulbs, which turned brown, then i used the stained glass paint to paint the bulbs, thats when they caught on fire, so NOT a normal thing, dont worry about it
