There is a motor with a worm gear that runs the odometer and that worm gear has been known to break. You can replace the worm gear with one from a junk yard cluster if there is a yard near you and you are so inclined.
Try cleaning the EGR and test the DPFE, EVR before you go and spend the money on a new one.
Check and clean all the battery terminals and cables before replacing anything. It may help to upgrade the battery wires to a bigger gauge to help with charging. Have the battery the alt and the starter tested at a local auto parts store to see which one may be the culprit. No sense in spending money on parts you may not need.
