ok so here is my senario, I drove to school this morning, had less than a quarter of a tank of gas in 1997 ford explorer, drove fine all the way with no problems, parked it in the parking garage at the school, then realized i needed to back up some more, so i started it up and within 2 seconds in cut off. I tried to start again, did the same thing, i noticed the oil gauge go up and down, but didnt really have time to look at everything else....could I be too low on gas? gas light never came on...anyone have any input?
