1997 Ford Ranger transfer case shift module.

I have read all of the posts and I thought i was ready to exchange the shift module, and Warn maunel hubs. However some how when I was removing the shift module I must have ripped the brown wire out--Now i have no Idea where it goes. Can someone give me some advice
