1998 Explorer Hitch Question

I am trying to locate a hitch in the junkyard. There are a lot of vehicles that have hitches on them, but they are not Explorer's or Monty's. What is the best way to find out exactly what hitches will fit my '98 Explorer (if any)?

What do you want to tow? The built-in bumper hitch needs only a ball and is rated at 3500 lbs. You can get the trailer light adapter that just plugs into the harness behind the left tail lamp and you're good to go. Been towing with my '97 that way for years.'

I have several extras that plug directly into a receiver (most important is my bike carrier). My dad has a wheelchair mount and I carry him around some...so the hitch is a must.
