- 1998 Ford Explorer Sport
Hi all!
I bought a wrecked 1998 Ford Explorer Sport 4x4 about 3 months ago. The front end was completely damaged, but it was my $400 project. Went up to Toledo, Ohio to pick parts about a week after I got it, needed a new radiator, new transmission cooler, header panel, headlights, bumper. Still needs a new hood, but it's in the works. He runs pretty good, there's a little bit of jolting in the rear end when stopping at stop signs (not really sure about that). To date, I've put on the radiator, the transmission cooler, the header panel, new headlights, bumper. The frame was offset about 2-3 inches, because it used to belong to a 16 year old girl, who her first winter thought 4 wheel drive meant go to town on black ice (WRONG), needless to say, she hit a pole and they gave up on the exploder, now it's my baby
