Truck Looks Awesome

Actually it looks alot like mine

Also Your picture is really, really, really big

that is a sharp lookin mountineer. i like the wheels also, a little bit of old style to it. great combo since the wheels match the grill chrome look.

do you have the purple tinted bulbs in your head lights? if so how does it look at night?

I like the way your nitrous line goes straight into the floor. I'd rig a blowoff tube that goes out of the truck though incase the blowoff disc blows. I can tell you what I did for that, there are pics in my nitrous project thread.

Plum Purple...

Sorry about the pics, I hope they are better now. Thanks for the comments, as usual, everyone always makes ya feel good on here.

williecume - The bulbs are some HID replica's but they are pretty bright... (4300K or something) My truck came with a purple stripe down the said that was painted on so instead of trying to cover it up, I decided to fly with it and began adding purple accents all over.

Alec - Yeah, I beleive that we put our kits in about the same time cause I remember talkin to you a while back. I was going to run the lines through the chassis but I was pushed for time. The blowoff line is not on yet cause I am planning something different. I have ordered another bottle and will be cutting into the rear floor to hopefully mount the bottle(s) in a pan that will go into where the spare used to sit and be covered by the carpet... totally hidden. Then comes the supercharger!

hey nice work! whered ya get that chrome pipe for yer intake? that part of the k&n kit?

really like the rims, never seen em on an X/mounty before, mostly vintage applications, looks great!

nitrous? I dont see where it connects to yer engine anywhere, hows it hook up?

Go baby go...

Thanks... I ordered the intake from MAC for much cheaper than all the other Cold Air Kits out there. It came with everything including the mounts where the old box was, a bracket, filter, mendrel bent chrome intake, and clamps. I really have to give it to them for a job well done. I got the wheels cause I had them in my 68 stang and I was looking for something that was a little more "Mercury" trademarked instead of Ford so I got these. The Crager SS first appeared on the 68 Cougar. Thought that was cool. As for the NOS, I posted a few more pics up where it goes into the intake. The ZEX kit came with a tap that tapped right into the chrome intake. My button in mounted way out of reach from anyone above the lumbar button on the drivers seat. The hookup took a few hours cause I am **** when it comes to my car but it wasn't bad at all. I am working on a write that Rick asked about a while ago... should have that together soon.

"Set me down to write a paper for class and not only will it take all night but it won't make a damn lick of sense, but set me down to talk cars and horsey's and I'll write a novel." - SO

hey, thats one helluva setup you have there :) looks awesome, and it looks like you did a great job with the nitrous. like alec said, im a big fan of the line going right into the carpet there, too, and the switch mounted on the side of the seat. nice job.
