1999 Explorer only blowing hot air

Hi All,

I have a 99 explorer and my wife was driving and moved the temperature on the AC from cold to hot. Ever since then it has only blown hot, no matter where you set the temperature. I have replaced the blend door and checked the fuse, and I'm still having the same issue.
Any help is appreciated as I'm sick of my feet burning when I drive, and we are about to head into a very hot summer here in Australia.

I'm also new to explorers, but as I understand it there are 3 possible causes.

1. Is a broken blend door.

2. Is a bad control module - you can lift it off the blend door and watch if it moves as you change the dial.

3. Is a bad valve in the heater hose that goes into the heater core. Apparently they stick sometimes and cause this problem.
