HVAC only blowing hot air.

Back in early spring my blend door actuator went out (broken gears) when trying to go from ac to heat which left me with only AC. I just now got around to replacing the actuator. Once I replaced it and turned the fan on I noticed right away that it started blowing hot air with the temp setting on cold. The temp of the air blowing stays hot no matter what I have it set on. It blows hot in all the vents. Could I have gotten a bad actuator from AutoZone?

Welcome to this forum! Check to see if the actuator is operating the blend door.

You might look for a diagnostic program for the blend door actuator in attempt to reset it. Something is ringing a bell on this one--

with key turned on, Try removing any hvac fuse you can find, and replace it
