I just bought my explorer, but I did not get the owners manual. I was wondering if someone could help me with the fuses. Number 17 is broken can someone tell me what it goes to? I put a new one in, but it broke immediately. Could someone give me a list of fuses and what they go to? I would appreciate any help.

I don't know the answer, but there are a lot of owners manuals on eBay .

Owners manual is available for download at fordvehicles.com, but you have to sign up and register your vehicle with them or whatever (free).

According to the service manual, #17 is a 25A fuse for the cigar lighter. What's plugged into it?

my cig lighter fuse went out one time for no reason - and I've never used the thing! replaced it and it was fine. Also, it powers up your OBD-II connect. I tried to plug in a scanner and usually the OBD-II port powers it up, but it didn't -- that is when I found out my fuse was bad.
