1st gen Batch Fire Injection to Sequential electronic injection swap

Just a long time update..i still have the 94 explorer ecm (YAM1) if anyone wants it.

I have had the original tunes from the T2Z1 explorer rewritten to work on my current ecu HAG0..they worked fine..i have since then had him write a E50 tune with 78 lb injectors based off the 93 tunes,he added a butt load of timing also..i have been running that tune for months and it runs like a BEAST..once i get my new motor done im going to bring it in for a final fine dyno adjust on that tune.

Is that YAM1 ECU from a manual or auto vehicle?

I can't remember if the manual ECU's don't have the programming for the auto trans, or if it's vice-versa. Do you know?

Or maybe I'm thinking of some other vehicle.

The manual dont have it for the auto.the auto ""can"" be used for a manual . .the manual ecu is hard to find

Ok. That's what I was thinking. That's too bad. I wouldn't mind having a backup ECU for my auto truck.
