Have a few issues I'm working out. Minor, but it's still old. I had to retire the 93, But I got $ for it. The oil leaks just got way worse & some other things.
I will say I'm surprised at the lack of features the 02 has. No cruise, no real center console(that bag thing sucks) no door lights, no sun visor mirrors. It also cost me $100 more to insure for some reason.
I almost bought one of those (facelifted Gen2 Sport) about 10 years ago. I've always liked the Gen2.5 Sport front end vs. the regular Gen2 front end.
One thing about having a base model -- it's a clean slate. You can add in features the higher-trim trucks had, if you wanted. Great that you got a manual too, those are going away by most manufacturers.
