I just got a 99, 4 door Explorer. I notice that the sun visors have mirrors and what appears to be lights on either side of them. How do you get the lights to work? No info the the owners manual. Thanks.

No switch that I can see. There is a plastic cover that has to be opened before you can see the mirror. I have tried turning the headlights also with no luck.

I found some used visors that have the Homelink garage door opener on them, but don't know if my visors have power to them since the lights don't seem to work. Visors are the original ones though.

Check your fuses.
