2 Alpine Type R's

I've finally settled on these 2 subs. One is 2ohm and one is 4ohm whats the difference. are both dual or single coil? What amp do i need to run 2 of these. I really dont know jack about car audio, but at least ive made a committment on the woofers.

if you want two of them, then get the dual 4 ohm voice coil subs. then you can wire them together @ 4 ohms mono (or if you go with a high current amp, you can wire them @ 1 ohm mono).

ok sorry i was away. anyways, i have no clue about a amp. carmedia1.com has great prices. I think I want 1 now, because its gonna cost like 700 to get 2. im still undecided. i think i just need a amp picked out for 1 or 2. check out carmedia1.com listings of the alpine subs im not sure if they are dual or single voice coil.
