So I have a 93 X with 2" drop brackets and a long arm, and I have what i think are 4" coils in s box. Any ideas if that works? Or how good of an idea it is? Can i move my camber that much? All help is good thank you....

it should work. It would be like installing 2" coils as far as the alignment is concerned. You will need camber bushings

Thanks for your input. Are the camber bushings the shims? Cuz when i looked at it i was thinking the ball joint is what moves the camber? I work at a shop so im going to do the alignment my self but have not played with the ttb yet.

If you have a 4.0 do you think the porting was worth it? Thats something i was going to look in to.

I run a 2.5" Rancho lift with 4" Skyjacker coils. It's not that big of a deal.
It's been a looong time since I've aligned it, but I have 2.75 degree bushings/shims, and the camber was close (enough) but not dead on.

Since you work in a shop, I would try what you got (lift, coils, shims) and see how it all works.

How is your steering? do you have a drop pitmen arm?

I get a little bump steer, but after 15 years I'm used to it. ;)
Pretty sure I have the factory pitman, I don't think it was part of the rancho lift kit...

So did you do a SOA? if so what springs do you have? I would just like to have 4" not 5 or 5 1/2"

Well, I have a Ranger, and them come SOA already. :D

Lol. I cant read! And i had a 86 ranger. It was a pos tho. And a friend of a friend wanted it bad so he traded is 93 x with a 2" lift and long arm. The best part NO RUST!

Do you think this is what i
