2 gen cluster questions

i got a 98 xlt i want to swap clusters on but i dont want to do the lay over gauges i would like a factory cluster

i would like to know what years can the 2 gen swap with to get a differnt cluster look right now i have the factory black with green backround
i would like to find something like a white back ground of silver what you guys think??

what years can i swap with?

Bin done many many times, they all interchange if I remember correctly.

find a 01-03 sport, or 01-04 sport track. white face, black lettering. when the lights are one, they are dark face (sorta) green lettering, and have orange/red needles
