I have a 2 inch body lift, and im putting it on tomorrow. Is there anyway to raise my front bumper? I DONT think it has any lift brackets, it says you dont need them. help!

Oh yeah its SAYS you dont need them, but yes your bumpers will look rediculous, just like mine...you have to sortof make your own mountsOr run up ro a metal fab shop. It should be alot easier that way...By the way. The shocks feel great!

Maybe I can scrap something together who knows. It will be fun whatever I do. Im glad the shocks work great!! You got a decent deal, since they were brand new! I pressure washed the bottom of the explorer last and man I found mud EVERYWHERE even though I wash the bottom everytime I wash the car. I got some rubber undercoating, goes on soon. Thanks.

oh yeah, do you plan on doing the skyjacker lift? or just stick with the body lift?

hmmm... money money money..Not sure what I want to spend it on first...I think I might just go with F-150 spacers( I know I know) And throw the shackles I have on the back...Not sure yet.
Yeah I gotta clean out my underside too.. I was in some nasty saltwater mud last night, gotta clean it before it eats it up...

Cool, spacers sounds good, I went with the actual lift, because I wanted new coils.

Click on "Gerald's Truck" in my signature line and page down to the second post for my article. In the lift section I explain how to use the front bumper relocation brackets from a PA 3" lift to move the front bumper up.

Hope that helped.

thanks hootus.. uh um i mean gerald. I just read that post and i couldnt resist. Anyway thanks for the info man. I think i just want to raise the front bumper. Where can I get the brackets for that?
