Hi all thanks to this website i got the kahones to install a 2 inch performance accessories body lift on my 92 X It was way way easier than i had imagined it would be and only took 6 hours and a 12 pack. Everything went well and works well except for these damn rear bumper brackets they gave me (and the front ones they didnt give me) they dont fit anywhere- holes are drilled to small and to close together- also it (the iraqi instructions) said i dont need lift brackets for the front bumper because the old brackets will adjust, well if so then im doing something wrong because i could only get about 3/4 of an inch of adjustment and still have at least a 2 inch gap the rear bumper looks the same very very ugly. Am I just adjusting these wrong? Do i need new brackets? please help fore i am embarrassed to drive it like this other than that my x is lookin killer now though never thought 2 inches would make that much of a difference. Thank you for any info you guys can give me Jaydub

those tricky brackets won't work on your truck... never did. You'll need to redrill all the holes on the rear brackets. You'll also need new brackets for the front. Those adjustments might be made on a Ranger (doubt it) not on the "X". I had to make new brackets for the front when I installed my 3" BL. Good thing I found some 1.4" metal brackets just laying there waiting to be used on something.
On the rear - Get someone to help you or use something to hold bumper up to the frame and mark new holes to drill on the existing brackets. That should work on the rear.
good luck with your rig

thank you JC whitney swears up and down they will fit guess i'll get to fabricating cause like you said they definitely are not fitting thanks again jaydub
