alright guys try not tohate because i dont want to flip through dozens of threads looking for an ansewer thats on this site in hundreds of other spots. anyways im going to lift my truck with the shackles in the back and new lift coils in the front. but thats all i know i need. so other then shackles and lift coils what will i need to complete the job? and if i put bigger coils in the front do i need to buy bigger shocks for the front too? or if theres an easier way to lift it 2ish inchs any insight on that would be good too. and im trying to stay under a couple of hundred, a bit more would be ok if needed but from what i've researched i should be able to do it for around 100.

The reason that the answers are in hundreds of other spots is because people keep asking about things that have been asked hundreds of other times.

Front needs lift coils and rear needs AAL and/or shackles. You can get away with factory shocks, your travel will just be reduced.

Springs alone are going to run around $140 though (Summit Racing), so plan on spending at least $250 since you will inevitably run into issues that cost a little extra.

ok sounds good. i keap seeing that people say to use warrior shackles... if the place i buy my parts from doesnt offer them is there stock shackles for a different vehicle that will bolt in and give the same lift? and if the place has warrior shackles do i need to order them spesificaly for a gen1 explorer or are they the same for all vehicles? just a few more questions for whoever wants to shed some insight..... people all over this sight say to use f-150 coils for the front from a junk yard but i cant seam to find a deffident year of truck to get them off and if i do this so i need just the coils or the mounting thing at the bottum too? and about the shackles... when doing this is it just the place where the leafs meet the frame at the back that you replace or is it the front of the leafs to?

You just need rear shackles. If you can drill holes and use a metal saw you can make your own:

If you really feel like buying the warrior shackles you need are model 153:

As far as F-150 coil seats, I personally don't know but in my opinion just call Summit Racing and get new springs. Then you know you will have fresh, good to go springs. Those are about $135.

maybe this can help you

[SVO42;2633103] but if it were me, I'd do a 2" BL and a ~ 2" suspension lift. Overall I think you'd be happier with the 2 + 2. I ran that setup for years.

suspension lift front:
1. F-150 coil spacers
OR
2. Skyjacker 2" lift coils (better) (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SJA-132X/)

suspension lift rear:
1. Warrior extended shackles (http://www.tellico4x4.com/product_info.php/products_id/6362
AND
2. add-a-leaf (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EXP-13120/

i already have a 3 inch body lift but im tryen to a bit more lift without a bigger body lift... and i would like to go totaly second hand on it if possible..

so say i want an inch and a half or 2 inchs of lift and i have an auto wrecker with every vehicle in the world on the lot... what year/model am i looking for for the shackles and coils.. or do stock f series vehicles have the spacers i can just pull out instead of the coils?

There's always used skyjacker coils for sale, picked mine up for $80 shipped. Your also going to need new camber adjusters up front and an alignment afterwards.
