I have 2 issues:

I bought this vehicle in Feb. 2010. Soon after purchase, I found that anytime I have the air blowing on either heat or A/C, it blows from the floor, the dash, and the defrost; all at the same time. I didn't know what caused that and what to do to fix it. Is it a door problem?

The 2nd Issue:
About 3 weeks ago, my heat stopped working altogether and everytime I would turn the manual switch to heat, it would click. After much research online, I have found that this could be the "blend door actuator." I have also found out that it would be hundreds of $$$ to repair, which I do not have.

Either problem, I am willing to purchase parts from Ford and do the repairs myself but I need step by step instructions. Can anyone help any further....?

Help! from KY

Gday mate, welcome to the forum. This is in answer to your second question : BigRondo has done a thorough and comprehensive step by step post that is stickied in the stock 2002 -2005 section. Check that out when youre ready to go.

Sounds like the heater box problem, possible recirculation door broke off. The clicking noise is the blend door actuator.

welcome

would a vacuum issue cause acceleration issues when the defrost is on?
