2 lighting questions

One: Are explorer tail lights interchangable with my 97 Mountaineers tail lights? I see a lot of nice aftermarket units but all are for 97 X's.

Two: If I upgrade to HID do I need Bi-Xenon lights so I have high beams and low beams or is there another way to do this?

Mounty & Explorer tail lights are interchangeable for the same years.

Yes, if you want to have high beams you must get the bulbs/projectors that have both.

I prefer good halogen bulbs in the headlights, upgraded fog lights and driving lights.

I have Sylvania Silverstars and they are nice and I just put brand new bulbs in the fogs. My 97 doesnt have driving lights that I know of (inless they are out).

I think I'm going to put in some black aftermarket X tails then.
