2 questions about my explorer

I just got my 00' exploer sport xlt about a year ago, my check engine light is on and when i scanned it it said too :exp: lean someone told me its just the sensors...how would i check that and my second ? is if i put 22'' or 24'' inch rims on my truck is it going to drive alot worse?

#1 - if it says it's running lean, there could be several reasons... if we had the exact code it put out, we'd be able to tell you more.
#2 - 22" rims, might not affecting handling, but could worsen the ride (due to less rubber)
 






24's will ride horrible and will probably rub too. Not to mention look like ass.
 






Untill u find out the exact code regarding the lean condition. Just pull a few plugs and check the color of the plugs. Any good auto manual will have pics of the plugs showing too lean, rich, oil fouling etc. Too lean, the plugs will be white with some spots I think. Learning how to read plugs can give u a good indication of whats going on inside. If its actually too lean, get it fixed or u could burn the valves or damage the pistons.
 






put 24's on that beast...youll probably have to lift it a little but who cares...itll look pimp as ****
 






22s will fit with the right size tires. 24s will fit with maybe a 2" body lift. Either will look good.
