2 red blinking leds

I looked around the web and this site but could not find an answer. I have a 2005 xlt. I do see a red blinking light on the dash but below the steering wheel, between my knees is another red blinking light. Has anyone else seen this? seems to blink at a different pace as the dash one but only when the engine is not running.
I just got the explorer last week so its new to me.

Aftermarket car alarm most likely...

Im no expert but it sounds to me that someone could have put an aftermarket alarm system on it at one time. I had a '87 Bronco II that was that way. It had the LED but all the wires from it dead ended under the hood.
