You can't do add a leaf. Your sport has a mono leaf in back.

You can add shackles, that will give about 1.5"
Then, you can do a 4 door leaf swap, and that will lift the rear up a little more. You can do a add a leaf if you do a 4 door swap.

Check the link in my signature for max tire sizes

I also want to do the TT.....and add a leafs in the rear......i have a 98 sport 2wd....would you guys recomend add a leafs of shackles or both to get about 3" in the rear

Because you have a sport you can't do the AAL. You already only have 1 leaf in your pack while a 4 door explorer has 4 (5?). To get 3 inches in the rear you're going to need to swap in a 4 door leaf pack for a little bit of lift, do the AAL, and shackles...

Most guys use the Warrior war153 shackles and for aal with the 4dr spring they use one by Pro Comp. You can get a universal shackle kit from AutoZone but they have no cross support. As they say you get what you pay for. Some guys make there own. There is a build thread on here, just search for it. Or there is a guy on ebay that makes and sales them.

so will any 4 door leafs fit my sport?

only from 95-01 if i'm not mistaken maybe first gen's but then again i'm not completely sure

32 x 11.5's will rub!

I have 31 x 10.5's with TT and they rub the sway bar on tight corners.

Also if you decide to swap the leaf spring to a 4 door leaf pack make sure they are not wore out. Most 2nd Gen. 4 door X's have a sagging rear which means the leaf packs are sprung or just worn out. I swapped mine with and F150 and it has been one of the best mods I have made.

they shouldn't rub if you remove the front valance and the little tiny piece behind the front tire...my 31's only rub at full turn radius with no lift i'm sure I could fit 32's with TT shackles and aal but i want that plus a BL and 33's not just 32's...

Thay have plenty of clearance in the wheel well and valance but they rub on the sway bar. I'm going to look for spacer to convert from 5 on 4.5 to 5 on 5 rims and that should take care of rub. I have a free set of brand new black Basset racing rims that I am just dying to put on.
