20 pin world plug question

Does anyone know what the 20 pin world plug on the back of the radio on a 99 mountaineer is for? I unplugged it and the radio speakers and sub still work Im trying to find out what the wires coming out of the plug are for it has 20 pins but only 9 wires attached to it I was thinking maybe this is pre wiring for a cd changer but I took my center console apart and did not find a plug for a cd changer if anyone has or knows where I can find diagrams showing me what the wires are for it would be greatly appreciated

It's for the controls in the center console.

Thanks you wouldnt happen to know which pins are for the cd changer output would you

the cd changer uses the 3rd plug

the one for the subwoofer? The reason im asking is because im trying to add my own aux plug for a an ipod or mp3 player etc. my radio has cd changer capabiliteis and if I could locate on the back of the radio which pins are for the cd changer imput it should work I just havent been able to figure out which ones they are if anyone knows or knows where I can find a diagram it I will gladly let everyone know how it works and what I did to add my own aux plug
