I bought a 2000 5.0 V8 Explorer 2 wheel drive and my husband replaced the transmission with one off of a Mercury Mountaineer. It will drive, but doesn't have any power. His cousin said he had the same issue when he switched out trannys on a form on an Explorer to a Mountaineer. He said that there is a wire on the trannsmission that should have been kept from the Explorer tranny and that is what the issue is. However, we have no idea what it is called and he won't come show us. Can anyone tell me what it is called so I can get the right thing? Thank you.
