i have a 2000 ford explorer.....the od light keeps coming on once i have reached higher speed or climbing a steep incline......a buddy of mine who knows transmissions said i dont need it replaced so i got fluid and filter changed and the codes reset and put lucas transmission treatment in it....they suggested not flushing so i didnt do that due to sediment that may need to stay there and i do not know history of transmission i bought it used......then light still comes on now.....i feel the shifting taking place.......another buddy of mine said it could be a selenoid and he also doesnt believe i need a new transmission........it will accelerate.....how to check this selenoid........a diagnostic before i got fluid changed said torque converter clutch system stuck off
