Had a person ask me if they were interchangeable. they do not have there mail box open to mail so i will post it here. the transmissions are not interchangeable the 2000 used a 4r70w or a 5r55e 2002 was a platform change and the trans changed along with that to a 5r55ws the part illustration im looking at show quite a bit of difference such a shift solenoids so PCM and TCM would have communication problems for once so short answer no they can not be interchanged.
