Ghost in the machine.

I have had several certified mechanics working on my 2000 Explorer XLT V8 5.0L for two years. DON’T ASK WHY SO LONG, Im not paying full shop rate, just working on it as they can. They have replaced several items including the entire fuel system from tank pump all the way to the injectors.

The problem they keep running in to is that after driving it for 20 minutes or so and it heats up the right side bank of injectors start to run lean. They have had this hooked up to every ford and snap on diagnostics computer there is. They have replaced and flashed computer after checking every injector after replacing them. They still can’t figure out why it is running lean. Because of the problem I cannot get it to pass smog here in California. All the common parts have been replaced, plugs, wires, Catalytic. Line has been pressure tested all the way thru including the bypass.

What would cause one full side to go lean after warming up? Any ideas ?

Thanks for the help.
