Hi guys. new to the site! been over at FSB working on my 84 Bronco, but I need a 2nd vehicle.
On Craigs List there is a 2000 Mountaineer V8 Auto - the ad says it starts up but then shuts off once it reaches "operating temp" . He says that there is no check engine light on and someone told him it could be fuel pump . The owner doesnt know about code readers So I might just take the hour drive to pull codes/inspect
I loved my 98 exploder so I would love to get this truck - Any ideas on what can cause this issue. Maybe some stupid sensor or something easy where I can get a great deal on a solid truck? :exp:
