Hello,
I have a list of issues, with my 2000 Mountaineer. I want to try to keep it Short and simple.
1) Mounty has a horrible time starting in the morning(i live in MASS). i Recieved a BIG R(rejection sticker for 3 codes that have popped up).
2) tempature coolant sensor-Replaced
tempature coolant sender-Replaced
02 sencer upstream-Replaced.
3) coolant Temp gauge will not work. It wouldnt budge at all but after i changed the O2 sensor it move SLIGHTLY i mean you have to stare at it to tell. Mechanic said it my be the cluster.
4) as for the starting in the morning issue. I beleive it may be the pump.Even though it did not give me any issues in the fall.(when my GF bought) I DO hear it humming. So i put it back on the scanner(code check thing) and it said the fuel pump relay sensor is having issues. Could it be thats not getting enough pressure? or could it be the thermostat?
Any help would be GREAT thanks,
