2000 ranger

Hello i have a 2000 ford ranger v6 3.0 flex fuel 4x4. been reading about the hubs mine does not have the pvh hubs all i see is axle shafts from cv joint no hub at all what kind is this need information on this please. also darn door ajar and dome light staying on all the time have done the teflon spraying to clean has not worked how do you bypass the door switch i am pretty sure passenger side but could be in rear as this is a 4door model.any help thanks

98~2000 1/2 4x4 Rangers had the Pulse Vacuum Hublock system which turned out to be a not-so-great idea from Warn. In mid model year 2000, Ford switched the Ranger to the more reliable Explorer setup without PVH.

the way to check is if you take the center cap off your wheel and you see a nut there then its a live axle setup, if theres a black plastic style looking hub its PVH.
