took it all off and lightly sanded it, nothing is coming off, even with knocking ice off it today not a single flake off, i took it off easy just pops off only screws are on the back door moldings near the wheel well, and on the bottom runner, like 4 little screws. Taking it off lets you get all the dirt off that builds up under them and stop any unseen rust from water pooling in them
