2000 XLT V8 with idle problems. Please help.

Hi there, I am a new member and I need some help. 2000 XLT V8, itruns good when cold, once it gets hot it starts cutting out while driving or while sitting at idle, at the same time the check engine light flashes but will not set a fault code current or pending. the fuel pressure reads about 60 psi. I tried a TPS sensor, it has new spark plugs. any ideas?

Could be a number of things. Vacuum leak, dirty MAF or IAC.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the stock 95-01 section. I'm sure that there is a code. Not every scanner is capable of reading every type of code.

Definitely clean the MAF first. This should be done yearly IMHO. Very easy. Use an electrical spray cleaner and be gently on that little wire sensor.
