2001 3.0L Ranger does not start.

Son parked the truck and came back to start and it does not crank over. good battery, starter and all fuses check good. Can jump the starter to crank the engine, but engine will not fire. Have seen numerous questions such as this posted, but no responses. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the Ranger section. It sounds like a problem with the security system. Do you see a flashing theft light?

are you using correct key?
