2001 entire taillight harness. where to buy.

guys please help as I will help you. I had a problem with my 2001 wiring harness. when i changed the bed from a straight bed to a stepside bed i forgot to take my wiring harness off of my regular bed. (you know the part of the harness that goes from the drivers rear tail light to the passenger rear tail light.)

I obviously still had my original tail light harness because it is the part that goes from underneath the drivers seat truck towards the back of the tail light but the part that goes from the drivers rear tail light to the passenger rear taillight is a separate piece which plugs in.

well when i switched beds the part was still mounted on the old bed. so i was left with the wiring harness from the stepside bed. when i plug it into my main wiring harness all my lights acted wierd and no longer operated how they should.

So after finally figuring this out my question to you guys will be " is there a place where I can get an entirely new harness from?"

I know that you cant buy a half of a harness so i would need the entire harness. Question 2: Are all 2001 xlt taillight harness the same?

try a local junkyard. you should be able to get the wiring harness from one for cheap.

Update got one from the junk yard as i get my parts free. My auto electrician mechanic took care of it for me. Thanks all for your help
