I have a 2001 Ford Explorer and the the gear shift is off track. For example, instead of me pulling the gear shift down once for it to go in reverse I have to pull it down twice. So the truck is actually in neutral but it thinks its in reverse. Then I have to pull the the gear shift all the way down for it to drive. The indicator does not work either. How can I fix this?
