I can't seem to figure out why my 01 sport will start and run but the lights are dim and the performance is terrible and at other times when I start it the lights are super bright and the performance is amazingly good almost to good to believe.every censor is good and its not showing any codes while being plugged into a scan tool. Also I haven't touched anything in-between then and now

Check your fuel pressure, and voltage when running and the lights are dim.

That's just it though it was the same and I haven't changed any thing except gitting in it and driving it.its not like I hit a bump or anything and it changes .it's hard to explain.fuel and voltage couldn't change like that could it .if fuel or voltage was the problem it wouldnt go from being really bad to being good

Something is obviously changing. Everything can’t be “perfect” as you claim, or you wouldn’t be here. Check the obvious things, or don’t.

That's just it though I have checked all sensors and scanned for obd codes all though I can't get this bamma sct programmer to show me my vin. Anyways I was wondering what the plug is that goes to rear end

Whatever it is…likely systemic. In other words, it affects everything.

Clean and tighten your grounds. Clean every electrical connection you can get to.

The advice about checking voltage when it happens is good advice. Lights don’t dim without a reduction in power. Your battery could have an intermittent internal issue, or your alternator could be on the way out.

No one is going to be able to pull a magic solution out of a hat. You need to give us some data.

The plug going to the rear end is the speed sensor for the ABS.

Again, something has to be wrong with something or you’d have no issues. A scan tool isn’t magic. You need to get a voltage reading when it’s acting up, or just start down that path by doing what’s mentioned above like checking your grounds.
