2001 Ford Sport Body Mount Bushings

Have the body bushing problems on a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport with only 95000 miles...anyone know of a mechanic in the Atlanta, GA area that would replace these at a resolvable cost(have not been able to find anyone that will do the job)..had a quote from a Ford dealer for $6300 (unbelievable)...thank you.

Buy the Daystar KF04009BK polyurethane kit, locate reputable BODY SHOPS in your area, and call around for estimates.

It's only an afternoon's worth of work for any competent shop. As mentioned above, hit up local body shops and I would also check with general automotive shops. $6300, either your Ford dealer misunderstood what you were asking for or they are incredibly corrupt - either of which are possible.
