2001 kit- ranger superlift

i did lots of searching, and found pretty much all that i needed.
the only question i have is:

what are the differences in the ranger superlift versus the explorer kit?
is it due to the fact that the ranger kit comes with blocks and the ex kit comes with spring packs?
just cuious, because i have seen the ranger kit as low as 1200 and the ex kit as much as 1800.

Rangers are spring over axle while exploresr are spring under axle. Also the shock mounts are a little different, but you won't have a problem with those. I did a 4" Trailmaster Ranger kit FB120 on my 00 Explorer, and everything bolted up, excepted I ordered a rear box kit from Superlift with my Superlift springs. Hope this helps.
