Have a 2001 v6 sport trac that has set for about 3 months. It was running when it was parked. I am going to sell it but now wot start. Changed fuel filter, coil, plugs, and crankshaft sensor. Still no fire. Can't see any bad fuses but seems every diagram I can find on internet is different. Anyone know exactly what fuses control the coils. Also read somewhere to check voltages on the PCM connection. I have batt voltage at the ignition coil, and at pin26, 52, and 78. I do not have continuity between pins 21 and 22 for the sensor but it is brand new. Please help I'm not sure where to look next.

Engine cranks but doesn't start? Fuel pump shut off inertia switch and connector checked?

Checked for spark with extra plug. Did not have any spark. Would a bad spark plug wire keep it from starting all together?

Probably not just one. Now you know its a spark problem as opposed to fuel.

If you have battery voltage at the coil and nothing at the plug, and have already checked/replaced the plug wires, time to start looking at the coil. Then check fuel pressure at the fuel rail.
