2001 st Tranny problem????

Ok today i went to shift into reverse and when i did and hit the gas the truck didnt move ???? Now when im driving i hear a little whining noise coming from under the truck it just makes the noise for a second and its when im going slow and the truck is moving now in reverse ahhh im scared now i just bought this truck last month and its already grown on me... It has 162k miles by the way...Any help suggestions i would really appreciate it

PLEASE I REALLY NEED HELP!!!!! Yes i check the levels and there were find and the tranny fluid looked clean.... Now the truck isnt moviing at all when i put it in reverse the rpms climg a little when i put it in reverse but it dont move pleasee helppp im a broke 24yr old with no mommy n daddy money and am just struggling to eat everyday i need this truck working pleaseeeee

I cant help you diagnose your problem, but IF you need a trans, I've got a low mileage one from an 01 sport. I'll sell it too you cheap.

How much ? And whats the condition on the trans and how many miles? Niceee your in jackson(six flags area) i can have my mechanic check out the trans
